The main day-to-day responsibilities include inspecting premises, determining extermination methods, scheduling work, training staff, supervising lower-level Housing Exterminators, and monitoring staff attendance. Additional tasks include conducting monthly meetings, ordering supplies, and keeping related records.

The ideal candidate will have two years of experience in the preparation and use of insecticides, rodenticides, baits, traps, and related chemicals/equipment, as well as one year of experience in a supervisory capacity.
Requirements
- Valid certificate as a Certified Commercial Pesticide Applicator for Industrial, Institutional, Structural, and Rodent Control (7A) issued by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation
- Two years of full-time satisfactory practical experience in the preparation and use of insecticides, rodenticides, baits, traps, and related chemicals/equipment
- One year of full-time satisfactory experience in a supervisory capacity
