Role OverviewJoin Heading Home Corps as a Housing Resource Navigator to support people facing homelessness or housing insecurity. You'll spend your days at a nonprofit organization or public agency, helping individuals obtain safe, stable housing and support them in building brighter futures.
What You Will Do
You'll regularly meet with participants, provide guidance as they navigate resources, set housing-related goals, and develop action plans. You'll also connect participants with social service resources and programs.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires dependability, basic computer skills, and fluency in English. You'll also need to be able to set a pace and maintain a service schedule, depending on the agreed-upon hours commitment.
Requirements
- Dependable and have a history of good attendance

- Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
- 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
- A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
- Able to successfully complete a background check
