Role OverviewJoin Heading Home Corps as a Housing Resource Navigator and spend your days at a nonprofit organization or public agency that has a mission in housing advocacy, social services, and/or public assistance. You'll help individuals obtain safe, stable housing and support them every step of the way!
What You Will Do
You'll regularly meet with participants and provide guidance as they navigate resources, set housing-related goals, and develop action plans. With individually tailored support, you'll help people as they build brighter futures!

To be a successful Housing Resource Navigator, you should be dependable, able to set a pace and maintain a service schedule, proficient in basic computer skills, fluent in English, and able to successfully complete a background check.
Requirements
- Dependable and have a history of good attendance
- Able to set a pace and maintain a service schedule, depending on the agreed upon hours commitment
- Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
- Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
- 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
- A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
- Able to successfully complete a background check
