Role Overview

As a Housing Resource Navigator, you will support individuals facing homelessness or housing insecurity by providing guidance and resources to help them obtain safe, stable housing. You will work with a nonprofit organization or public agency that has a mission in housing advocacy, social services, and/or public assistance.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include fostering strong relationships with participants, guiding them in creating housing-related goals, tracking their progress, connecting them with social service resources, and committing to your own growth through training and professional development.

Requirements

  • Dependable and history of good attendance
  • Able to set a pace and maintain a service schedule
  • Proficient in basic computer skills
  • Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
  • 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
  • Able to successfully complete a background check
