Job Description
The Housing Specialist will help clients find housing while achieving self-sufficiency, manage relationships with clients, service providers, and colleagues, and advocate for clients with landlords and brokers.
Requirements
Conduct housing intake and assessment interviews
Meet with clients regularly to guide them in their housing search
Accompany clients to view apartments and assist with move-in
Keep up-to-date on changes to housing subsidy programs
Network with brokers and landlords to identify new housing resources
Participate in team case conferences
Record and maintain housing documentation in the case management system
