Job Description
The Housing Specialist will help clients find housing while achieving self-sufficiency, manage relationships with clients, service providers, and colleagues, and advocate for clients with landlords and brokers.

Requirements

  • Conduct housing intake and assessment interviews
  • Meet with clients regularly to guide them in their housing search
  • Accompany clients to view apartments and assist with move-in
  • Keep up-to-date on changes to housing subsidy programs
  • Network with brokers and landlords to identify new housing resources
  • Participate in team case conferences
  • Record and maintain housing documentation in the case management system
