Role OverviewThe HR Coordinator supports the Human Resources function by assisting employees throughout the hiring, onboarding, orientation, benefits, and general HR processes. This position serves as an important point of contact for employees and is responsible for providing accurate, consistent, and professional information regarding company policies, benefits, payroll procedures, attendance expectations, safety requirements, and workplace practices.
What You Will Do
The HR Coordinator will conduct and/or assist with new-hire orientation, provide new employees with information regarding company policies, procedures, attendance expectations, workplace conduct, safety requirements, PPE, sanitation, and general employment expectations, and assist employees with accessing applicable HR, payroll, benefits, and other company systems.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in Human Resources, employee relations, benefits, recruiting, onboarding, payroll support, customer service, or a related field preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing, food-processing, poultry, warehouse, or other fast-paced operational environment preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to explain policies, procedures, and processes clearly and professionally
- Ability to work effectively with employees from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic to intermediate computer skills and ability to learn HRIS, payroll, benefits, and other company systems
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and recognize when an issue should be escalated to HR management
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Bilingual English/Spanish/Creole skills strongly preferred based on business and workforce needs
