HR Coordinator

The HR Coordinator will administer unemployment claims, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain HRIS integrity. They will also process paperwork, update data, and perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Do

The HR Coordinator will attend unemployment hearings, publish and administer personnel policies, process sick pay, and maintain records and procedures for controlling personnel transactions.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally in English
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER
• Bilingual skills helpful
• Experience working with FMLA and FMLA Federal Compliances (Will train candidate)
• Excellent conflict resolution skills
• Computer knowledge required (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Proficient typing and 10-key skills beneficial
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Great organizational skills
• Oversee Open Enrollment
• Present Benefits information during orientation
• Ability to work 40+ hours (Flexible)
• Prior experience in unionized environment preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in meat processing or other manufacturing setting preferred
• Communication/public relations skills required
• PHR or SPHR preferred
• Great attendance record (Less than 2 points, for internal candidates) and no written warnings or suspensions in the last calendar year.
