Role OverviewWe are hiring an HR General Support Specialist to join our team and provide HR operational support to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Human Capital Management Office (HCMO) in Washington, DC. The role will focus on employee benefits and retirement services while also assisting with HR processing and staffing needs.

Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in federal HR processing or benefits
- Ability to process forms, maintain records, calculate retirement service, and use FPPS and benefits systems
- Experience with federal benefits and retirement administration or federal HR processing
- Ability to review and process personnel, payroll, and benefits forms accurately and within required timeframes
- Ability to maintain complete and accurate HR, benefits, and personnel records
- Hands-on FPPS experience is preferred; comparable federal payroll or personnel system experience will be considered
- Ability to provide professional customer service and respond to employee and management inquiries
- Ability to protect personally identifiable information and other sensitive FTC information
Benefits
- Salary: $71,000 – $80,000 per year
- Limited telework may be available with prior approval

- Full-time, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
