Job Description
Newport Mental Health is a progressive high-energy organization that uses state of the art person-centered recovery approach to help individuals recover from mental illness and substance use disorders. The HR Generalist is responsible for running the daily functions of the Human Resources department, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits and leave administration, compliance, event planning, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources or administrative support
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HRIS systems
