Job Description
Magnolia River is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide comprehensive professional support to senior HR staff and internal client groups. The role requires a strong knowledge of employment laws, HR processes, and computer applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related areas
  • 3+ years of directly related experience
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other relevant employment laws
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Thorough knowledge of HR processes
  • Knowledge of computer applications and functions including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of HRIS programs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to perform in a detail-oriented environment with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to compile, review, and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Ability to communicate unpleasant news and difficult information in an appropriate manner
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to investigate issues thoroughly and objectively
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to travel as needed
