Job Description
Magnolia River is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide comprehensive professional support to senior HR staff and internal client groups. The role requires a strong knowledge of employment laws, HR processes, and computer applications.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related areas
3+ years of directly related experience
PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other relevant employment laws
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
Thorough knowledge of HR processes
Knowledge of computer applications and functions including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Working knowledge of HRIS programs
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to perform in a detail-oriented environment with a high level of accuracy
Ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously
Ability to compile, review, and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Ability to communicate unpleasant news and difficult information in an appropriate manner
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to investigate issues thoroughly and objectively
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to travel as needed
