Job Description
The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Office of Human Resources (OHR). The position serves as the single point of contact and service provider for a division or divisions for all OHR services.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of employment law, human resources principles and practices, and a wide range of human resources services.
  • Ability to understand the differing managerial roles within the agency hierarchical structure and modify approach accordingly.
  • Ability to remain neutral under adversarial circumstances.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, human resources, journalism, English, psychology, marketing or related.
  • Three years of job-related work experience involving HR services such as classification, compensation, recruitment and selection, performance management, interpreting employment policy and law, labor relations or related field.
  • State of Montana Classification Certification required, or ability to complete certification within 1 year of employment.
