Job Description
The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Office of Human Resources (OHR) for an HR Partner to provide services such as recruitment and selection, job descriptions, and employee relations. The position partners with division management to identify patterns and opportunities across services and divisions. The HR Partner will mentor HR Generalists and track, monitor, and ensure satisfactory coordination and completion of all services.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of employment law, human resources principles and practices, and a wide range of human resources services.
  • Ability to understand the differing managerial roles within the agency hierarchical structure and modify approach accordingly.
  • Ability to remain neutral under adversarial circumstances.
  • Meet minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, human resources, journalism, English, psychology, marketing or related, and three years of job-related work experience involving HR services.
