What You Will Do
The HR Specialist will review and process voluntary and disability retirement cases, prepare retirement estimates, provide retirement counseling and advisory services, and ensure retirement-related personnel actions are accurately coded and processed.

Requirements
- US Citizen
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Organizational Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of six (6) years of professional experience performing federal retirement and benefits support services comparable in scope and complexity to the responsibilities described above.
- Demonstrated experience independently reviewing and advising employees on federal retirement benefits and eligibility.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing voluntary and disability retirement cases.
- Demonstrated experience preparing federal retirement estimates and counseling employees regarding the information contained within retirement estimates.
- Demonstrated experience coding and processing federal retirement personnel actions.
