Role OverviewThe HR Senior Recruitment Coordinator provides advanced human resources and recruitment support for the agency, with primary responsibility for coordinating and administering full-cycle recruitment, personnel processing, classification-related activities, and civil service requirements.
What You Will Do
Leads and coordinates full-cycle recruitment activities, represents the agency at external recruitment fairs, develops and facilitates internal candidate pools, and provides guidance to hiring managers throughout the candidate selection process.

Requirements
- At least three years of progressively responsible human resources and/or recruitment experience, preferably within New York City government
- Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruitment and personnel processes in a public-sector environment
- Proficiency with City human resources information systems and applications
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, civil service, personnel administration, and Citywide hiring policies and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to interpret job descriptions, minimum qualification requirements, personnel policies, and applicable regulations
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment actions, competing priorities, and time-sensitive assignments simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with candidates, hiring managers, agency leadership, and employees at all levels
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and computer skills, with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive personnel matters with professionalism and discretion
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership of assignments, and collaborate effectively as part of a team
- Strong customer-service orientation and the ability to provide clear, responsive, and professional guidance throughout the recruitment and onboarding process
