Role OverviewThe HR Specialist plays a key role in supporting a fair, compliant, and respectful workplace at DePuy Synthes. This position partners closely with HR leaders, managers, and employees to address employee relations matters, support labor relations activities, and ensure consistent application of company policies, collective bargaining agreements, and employment laws.
What You Will Do
Provide day-to-day support on employee relations matters, including performance concerns, workplace conduct issues, attendance, and policy interpretation. Assist with employee relations investigations, including fact-finding, documentation, and preparation of findings and recommendations.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
- Typically 4–5 years of experience in Human Resources, with direct exposure to Employee Relations and/or Labor Relations activities
- Working knowledge of employee relations practices, workplace investigations, and corrective action processes
- Familiarity with labor relations concepts, union environments, and collective bargaining agreements
- Understanding of U.S. employment laws and regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters discreetly
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate documentation
