Role Overview

The Payroll Specialist provides comprehensive HR support services to employees across Kettering Health while delivering exceptional customer service. This role is responsible for a variety of administrative, transactional, and records management functions that support Human Resources operations.

What You Will Do

Review Timekeeper training records, maintain and update Timekeeper distribution lists, process employee W-4 workflow transactions, perform retroactive bonus calculations and payroll adjustments, and maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related Human Resources or administrative experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel and Word
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
