Role OverviewThe HSE Specialist/Coordinator will perform a broad range of tasks supporting all Health, Safety, Environmental and Workers Comp requirements at CCI-West. This position will be required to conduct training, write safety procedures, and participate in continuous improvement projects on an as-needed basis.
What You Will Do
The HSE Specialist/Coordinator will maintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and industrial processes related to health, safety and environmental. They will also coordinate and facilitate safety training, conduct testing, maintain liaisons with outside organizations, and compile and analyze statistical data.

Requirements
- Industrial Safety Degree or 5+ years' experience in the utility industry and a High School diploma or GED
- Must become a Certified Forklift instructor & maintain certification
- Strong organization skills, detail-oriented, and exceptional follow through

- Excellent judgement and problems solving skills
- Experience in conducting injury investigations and root cause analysis
- Work well under minimal direction
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of applicable EPA, OSHA Standards, familiar with 29 CFR 1910 & 29 CFR 1926, and other applicable standards
