Role Overview

The selected individuals must have strong customer service skills and a commitment to confidentiality while performing advanced human resources subprograms for assigned areas (e.g., recruitment & selection, content-valid assessment/selection design, job analysis, & classification plan compliance).

What You Will Do

Conducts job analyses, develops/assists in developing selection instruments, develops pass point scores, conducts validation studies, documents results, & researches & makes recommendations for assessment policies & procedures. Performs recruitment & selection activities for agency; prepares & enters online vacancy announcements, screens applications for minimum qualifications, prepares interview packets & coordinates with hiring managers to schedule interviews, reviews & suggests interview questions, participates on interview panels & determines scores, pass point scores & scoring criteria, notifies selected candidates & makes tentative offers, gives hiring process status updates, coordinates background checks & pre-hire drug screening, completes reference checks, generates & distributes appointment letters to employees.

3 yrs. exp. in human resources. -Or completion of undergraduate core program in human resources, business or public administration; 12 mos. exp. in human resources. -Or 1 yr. exp. as Human Capital Management Analyst, 64612. -Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
