Job Description
Human Resource Assistant Manager responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with California labor laws, reviewing payroll accuracy, and managing employee relations matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field
  • Solid knowledge of Employment & Labor Law, with solid knowledge in California labor law
  • Proven experience managing employee relations issues and compliance with California's employment laws
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, management, and external agencies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with HRIS systems, preferably ADP Workforce NOW
  • Bilingual proficiency in Korean is preferred
  • Understanding of cultural nuances in the workplace
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex legal and employee relations issues
