Job Description
Human Resource Assistant Manager responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with California labor laws, reviewing payroll accuracy, and managing employee relations matters.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field
Solid knowledge of Employment & Labor Law, with solid knowledge in California labor law
Proven experience managing employee relations issues and compliance with California's employment laws
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, management, and external agencies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with HRIS systems, preferably ADP Workforce NOW
Bilingual proficiency in Korean is preferred
Understanding of cultural nuances in the workplace
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex legal and employee relations issues
