Job Description
The Montana Department of Transportation is recruiting for a Human Resource Generalist / Investigator to manage personnel issues, mediation, and investigations. The position also partners with leadership and manages the day-to-day operations of human resources tasks. Part-time or Full-time employment may be considered for the successful candidate.

Requirements

  • Related Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Human Resources, Communications or closely related field.
  • Two (2) years of human resources related experience.
  • Knowledge of investigations, mediation, state and federal employment laws, labor relations.
  • Skill in the operation of a personal computer and business software applications
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
