Job Description
The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is recruiting for a Human Resource Generalist to support the Butte District. This position works closely with the District/Division Leadership and Human Resources staff, and involves recruitment and selection, HR projects, and other HR-related tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or Public Administration
  • One year of human resources experience
  • Knowledge of MDT's Recruitment and Selection Policy, Union Contracts, and Records Retention policy
  • Basic knowledge of the principles and practices of Human Resources processes
  • Ability to work with diverse groups of employees and varying levels of performance
  • Skill in computer and business software applications
