Job Description
As a Human Resources Associate III, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of policies and programs in a unionized environment. This includes recruiting, salaried & hourly compensation and benefits, employee/labor relations, and onboarding. You will assist in developing policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. You will also provide input to the formulation of Human Resource policy changes, communicate company policies to employees, and facilitate employee benefits administration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business or related field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years professional Human Resources experience in a support role
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of people, mediate, persuade, and influence managers at all levels
  • Sound confrontation skills
  • Understanding of the Fair Labor Standards Act and National Labor Relations Act
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Working knowledge of Human Resource Information System and payroll system
  • Intermediate skill level in the use of MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Experience with payroll and time and attendance software. Kronos and UKG – UltiPro preferred
