Job Description
The Human Resources Control Manager role at Bloomberg involves evaluating operational processes to identify key risks and control gaps, driving remediation efforts, and enhancing the overall control environment. The role requires a trusted advisor to HR partners to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the function, and to provide oversight of and challenge risk response activities, risk acceptance, and the tracking issues to closure.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of risk management, audit, and/or internal controls experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or related discipline
  • Prior experience in either a 1st or 2nd line of defense capacity preferred
  • Experience executing against risk management frameworks, including experience with risk and control self-assessments (RCSA), internal controls design (including IT general controls), and operational risk frameworks
  • Knowledge of and experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools to manage workflows of risk and control taxonomies, risk events, and issue management
