The Human Resources Generalist will serve as the first point of contact for team members and manager questions on policy interpretation, performance concerns, and workplace conflict. This role is all about relationships, results, and real impact.

What You Will Do

The Human Resources Generalist will conduct or support routine employee relation investigations, document findings, and recommend resolutions. They will also serve as backup and overflow support to the Talent Acquisition Specialist, stepping in on sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, or offer coordination during peak volume or capacity gaps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred; combination of education and experience considered.
  • 1-2 years of progressive experience in human resources, including employee relations and recruiting preferred.
  • Working knowledge of employment law (FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA) across multiple states; multi-state HR experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS/HCM platforms strongly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build credibility with managers & team members at all levels.
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee data.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality requirements as they relate to wellness/health program data.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record according to the PFS Co. Driver Safety Policy.
