Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. We are looking for a HR Operations Expert to build long-horizon people-ops tasks with deterministic rubrics to grade agent performance against verifiable ground truth.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in HR operations or people operations.
  • Expertise in HRIS (e.g., Workday, Rippling, BambooHR, Gusto, Justworks), leave administration (FMLA, ADA), benefits administration, or FLSA classification.
  • Comfortable with HR artifacts: policy responses, offer letters, change forms, leave decisions.
  • Clear written communication; articulate reasoning step by step and encode into deterministic rubrics.
