Job Description
The Human Resources Manager manages staff and operations of an assigned division of the department, including employee relations, HR information systems, organization and employee development, and policy and strategic planning.

Requirements

  • Manages, directs, and evaluates assigned staff
  • Organizes, prioritizes, and assigns work
  • Supports department and County's strategic objectives
  • Assists in preparing annual budget
  • Assists in developing short- and long-term goals
  • Manages administration of countywide human resources
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and ordinances
  • Implements process improvements and leverage cutting-edge technology
  • Manages and implements performance evaluation and training/development programs
  • Receives or prepares various forms, reports, correspondence, policies, procedures, manuals, reference materials, or other documentation
  • Communicates with director, other County departments and employees, the public, outside agencies, and other individuals as needed
