Job Description
Join UGN as a Human Resources Manager and lead the on-site HR team at the Valparaiso, IN facility. As a strategic advisor to the Plant Manager, you will provide HR-related solutions to business challenges and ensure compliance with UGN policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience working in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a Management role preferred
  • Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment is strongly preferred
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions to develop and integrate HR and business strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; high-quality document preparation and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated a high level of ownership and accountability
  • Strong employee relations/interpersonal communication skills with all levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where quick decision-making skills are required
  • Ability to prioritize/juggle multiple responsibilities and problem-solve
