Role OverviewHDR is looking for a dynamic human resources professional to ensure the fair and consistent application of HDR policies and procedures, handle employee relations and performance management questions, and participate in the investigation and resolution of employee concerns and complaints. The Human Resources Manager will oversee the annual performance conversation review process, prepare and manage Affirmative Action Plans, and develop and present training programs as needed. The role requires a minimum of 5 years' Human Resources experience, discretion, and the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- A/E or construction industry experience
- PHR, SHPR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
- Knowledge of HRIS systems and ability to work within a variety of different systems
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time in a split between day trips and overnight trips
- Discretion and the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and various managers in a fast-paced environment
- High proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication and strong client service ability
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
- Experience leading and attending performance conversations
- Ability to facilitate employee training
- Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to travel 15% of the time
