Role OverviewThe Human Resources Manager is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior operations and HR leadership. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: absence management (ADA/FMLA), employee relations and investigations, training, employee engagement programs, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, workers compensation and safety, unemployment, and general employment law compliance. This position also manages a team of HR support personnel (HR Coordinator, HR Generalist) so management skills are needed.
What You Will Do
Facilitate the onboarding and exiting process for all employees. Respond to inquiries regarding organization’s policies, procedures, and benefits. Assist with managing employee leave of absence programs and ADA accommodation requests. Investigate and resolve employee relations issues. Manage unemployment and workers' compensation claims. Maintain confidential employment data, health records, and electronic data utilizing HRIS database.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrate knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
- Broad range HR generalist experience.
- Experience working in an environment with a high number of hourly employees (call center, manufacturing, health care, etc.) is strongly preferred.

- Knowledge of Payroll systems and Time & Attendance systems a plus. ADP experience, preferred.

- PHR, SPHR, or SHRM certification preferred.
