Role Overview

The Human Resources Manager serves as a key member of the Northern California Human Resources team, reporting to and partnering closely with the Northern California Area Human Resources Manager. This role provides consultative HR support to leaders and employees across multiple Northern California offices, delivering people-focused solutions that support business objectives, employee development, compliance, and a positive workplace culture.

What You Will Do

Ensure fair and consistent application of HDR policies and procedures, handle employee relations and performance management, assist with leaves of absence and accommodation requests, prepare performance improvement plans, oversee annual performance review process, participate in investigations, conduct onboarding and offboarding, manage Affirmative Action Plans, coordinate trainings, analyze HR metrics and workforce reports, assist with hiring process and intern recruiting, coordinate compensation studies, and oversee local wellness activities.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years' Human Resources experience
  • Discretion and the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and various managers in a fast-paced environment
  • High proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and strong client service ability
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
  • Experience leading and attending performance conversations
  • Ability to facilitate employee training
  • Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to travel 15% of the time
