Role Overview

The Human Resources Recruitment Coordinator supports the agency's Human Resources functions, including personnel services, classification, recruitment, civil service administration. This role is responsible for performing recruitment, on-boarding, and personnel activities. The Coordinator will work in the Bronx District Attorney's Office, shaping the agency culture, promoting career growth, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the sustainability of the agency.

What You Will Do

Specific duties include creating job postings, reviewing applicant resumes, coordinating logistics of candidate interviews, processing new hires, and entering data for various personnel transactions within NYCAPS. The Coordinator will also represent the agency at hiring events, manage civil service appointment lists, and facilitate hiring pools.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited college in economics, finance, accounting, business, or public administration
  • Two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience working in one or a combination of the following areas: budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research
  • Associate degree or completion of 60 semester credits from an accredited college and four years of satisfactory full-time professional experience
  • Four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and six years of satisfactory full-time professional experience
  • A combination of education and/or experience equivalent to the above
