Job Description
Role Overview

As a Human Resources Representative, you will assist the local Raleigh office, NC area, and corporate HR Department with various HR-related tasks, including new hire orientation, recruitment, and employee records maintenance. You will provide excellent HR customer service and support managers and employees with company policies, procedures, and benefits. You will also assist with special projects and maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files, records, and sensitive employee information.

What You Will Do

Conduct new hire orientation, assist with new hire paperwork, and verify I-9 documentation. Create employment requisitions, coordinate interview schedules, and assist with documentation of annual recruiting plans. Provide HR customer service, support employee and manager requests, and answer questions related to company policies, procedures, benefits, and hiring.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of employees and management
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel or similar programs
  • Basic understanding of business activities
