Role OverviewHDR is an employee-owned architecture, engineering, and consulting firm. In the role of Human Resources Representative, you will support approximately 200 employees across the Michigan Area, working in the Ann Arbor office with occasional travel to East Lansing and Detroit.
What You Will Do
You will assist local area offices and the corporate HR department with a variety of HR-related activities, including conducting engaging new hire orientations, creating employment requisitions, coordinating interview schedules, and supporting the Internship Program. You will also conduct offboarding activities, process terminations, maintain employee records, and provide excellent HR customer service for employee and manager requests.

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of employees and management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Word and Excel or similar programs
- Basic understanding of business activities
