As a Human Service Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional frontline service to patients, assisting with enrollment in health coverage, and determining eligibility for various programs. You will work in a fast-paced clinic environment, interacting with people from diverse backgrounds, and remain calm under pressure.
What You Will Do
Your main responsibilities will include greeting visitors, registering patients, determining source of payment, resolving patient complaints, participating in problem-solving, and performing general office duties such as sorting mail, filing, and photocopying. You will also contribute to a welcoming clinical space and healthy work environment through proactive relationship building and direct communication.

Requirements
- High school diploma/equivalent
- One year of experience in a clinical or similar professional office setting
- Meet all health clearances required for healthcare settings
- Experience with public medical assistance programs (Medi-Cal, Disability, etc.) including eligibility criteria; or credit and collection work for medical assistance through personal interview
- Certification in Application Assistance (CAA) preferred
