Job Description
HUMAN SERVICES COUNSELOR I - Establish a trusting relationship with culturally diverse families by initiating and maintaining regular client contact. Provide Case Management to pregnant women and infants referred to the Healthy Start Program.

Requirements

  • Experience in Counseling techniques and strategies
  • Experience working with pregnant women and children
  • Problem solving skills related to advancing client self-sufficiency
  • Ability to work well with others as a team
  • Computer skills: competency and experience
  • Experience in interviewing and assessing to determine the needs of the client
  • Knowledge of community resources
