Job Description
UT Southwestern is seeking an HVAC Controls Technician, Building Automation Systems (Engineering Tech III) to diagnose, repair, calibrate, and adjust electric, electronic, and pneumatic HVAC controls to maintain optimal temperature and humidity across campus buildings.

Requirements

  • Block programming
  • Powers Process Control Language (PPCL)
  • Building Automation Software (BAS)
  • Energy Management Systems (EMS)
  • Experience with environmental control, and other automated systems such as Desigo PXC Controllers, BACnet Programmable TECs (PTECs), Siemens Apogee BAS.
  • Proficient problem solver who can apply their knowledge and experience in utilizing electronics, DDC, airflow, hydronics, refrigeration theory, pH sensors, flow meters, electrical meters and system control techniques.
  • Active certification as Master Operator, Master Programmer, Certified Automation Professional (CAP), or Employment Ready Building Automation Technician Certification.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 4 years of experience in HVAC DDC controls and related HVAC systems.
  • Equivalent trade school training or combination of both.
  • Maintains valid State of Texas drivers license Upon Hire
