Job Description
ASRC Federal is seeking a HVAC Mechanic to support our ISS2 contact with the Air Force customer. The position is located on Wake Island, where the selected employee will work a schedule of 3 months on the island and one month off. Housing and meals are provided on-site, and transportation to the island is sponsored by government aircraft. The HVAC Technician will repair, maintain, and service commercial, industrial, and residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and refrigeration units.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • EPA Sect. 608 Universal CFC Handling Certification
  • Demonstrated HVAC mechanical technical hands-on experience
  • Ability to lift fifty (50) lbs regularly
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, fingerprints, and drug screening
  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
