Requirements

  • High school diploma and HVAC/maintenance training applicable to the industry are required
  • Must have a working knowledge of the following: HVAC refrigeration recovery; rebuild procedures for a variety of R-22 equipment; repair, service and installation procedures on a variety of R-22 and 410A HVAC systems; mechanical codes, systems, and assemblies used in multi-family HVAC and the long-term maintenance of same; and computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must have a command of the English language and be able to develop specifications, policies and procedures and render them in written form to be used by site staff, vendors and suppliers
  • EPA and R-410A certifications required
  • Minimum two years' experience troubleshooting and charging HVAC R-22 and R-410A systems and replacing air handlers and condensers
  • Basic knowledge of building duct system with fiber board and flex
  • Must be able to perform a wide variety of repair and troubleshooting techniques and installations
