Role OverviewAs an HVAC Technician at MSS Solutions, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and starting up commercial HVAC equipment. You will work exclusively at the Downtown Charleston Roper St. Francis facility and will be part of a team that values collaboration, respect, and empowerment.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include installing, troubleshooting, and starting up commercial HVAC equipment, logging HVAC equipment, driving and picking up equipment and parts, communicating with team members and customers, and completing assigned tasks with minimal call-backs.

Requirements
- Proficient with troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment
- Knowledge of basic refrigerant cycle, various heating components and air distribution systems
- Proficient with brazing, leak checking and the evacuation process
- Understands mechanical drawings and equipment specifications
- Ability to abide by basic safe work practices
- 2+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
- Universal EPA Certification
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations manual, and written directions
- Ability to write reports
- Ability to show up on time, ready to work and in uniform
- Ability to communicate with both internal and external customers
- Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug test
