Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to work exclusively at the Mount Pleasant Roper St. Francis Hospital facility. The successful candidate will have 2+ years of commercial HVAC service experience and a Universal EPA Certification.
What You Will Do
Install, troubleshoot, and startup commercial HVAC equipment, including commercial DX equipment, intake/exhaust fans, split systems, heat pumps, and other equipment. Log HVAC equipment, communicate with team members and customers, and complete assigned tasks with minimal call-backs.

Requirements
- Proficient with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment
- Knowledge of basic refrigerant cycle, various heating components, and air distribution systems
- Proficient with brazing, leak checking, and the evacuation process
- Understands mechanical drawings and equipment specifications
- Ability to abide by basic safe work practices
- 2+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
- Universal EPA Certification
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations manual, and written directions
- Ability to write reports
- Ability to show up on time, ready to work, and in uniform
- Ability to communicate with both internal and external customers
- Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug test
