Role OverviewPerforms skilled to advanced craft-mechanical air conditioning and HVAC systems work in various installation, maintenance and service tasks for an assigned region of the school district. Ensures provision of fresh, environmentally safe, and dehumidified cooled or heated conditioned air for the assigned region of the district.
What You Will Do
Responds to internal and external customers in a timely, accurate, courteous and empathetic manner representing OCPS in a positive light. Performs skilled to advanced craft-mechanical air conditioning and HVAC trades work in various installation, repair, maintenance and service tasks for an assigned region of the school district.

Requirements
- Vocational/technical training in heating, air condition, refrigeration and ventilation
- Minimum (5) years progressively knowledgeable and skilled trades work in the field
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams and technical specifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid commercial driver’s license class “D”
- Training in refrigerant handling and recovery
