Role OverviewThe Program Manager will oversee the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP) in Chicago, IL, helping military veterans experiencing homelessness with case management, job placement, and housing assistance. The ideal candidate has case management and leadership experience, and is a self-starter looking to help military veterans discover their strengths, develop short- and long-term goals, and take actionable steps towards self-sufficiency.
What You Will Do
Provide program oversight, manage a caseload of veterans, conduct intake, orientation, eligibility screening, and assessments, develop individualized plans, and refer clients to vocational trainings and certification programs.

Requirements
- Minimum of 4-year degree
- One to three (1-3) years of case management experience
- Leadership and/or management experience preferred
- Experience working with military veterans and/or individuals experiencing homelessness
- Ability to work with people from all backgrounds
- Knowledge of Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed, and/or Two-Generational methods a definite plus
- Understanding of workforce development, employment services, and adult education a definite plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint preferred
