Role OverviewThe Hydrovac Operator is responsible for operating hydro vacuum excavation equipment to safely expose underground utilities, maintaining equipment, and enforcing project scope to ensure compliance with contract documents and policies.
What You Will Do
Operate hydro vacuum excavation equipment, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report deficiencies daily, and communicate effectively with crew members and clients.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience operating vacuum trucks, a valid CDL Class A Commercial Driver's License, and excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-5 years of experience operating vacuum trucks
- Valid CDL Class A Commercial Driver's License (Tanker endorsement required)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA, and FMCSA/DOT guidelines
