Job Description
We are seeking a talented Hypersonics Design Engineer to support multiple projects as part of the Advanced Materials Department. The Hypersonics Design Engineer will work alongside other design engineers, structural analysis engineers, program management, and customers to oversee design and analysis of structures and mechanisms related to hypersonic vehicles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and 8 years experience
  • Design and drafting skills in industry CAD software (CREO, SolidWorks)
  • Tolerancing and GD&T knowledge
  • Design for Manufacturing and Inspection understanding
  • Standards knowledge in ASME and ASTM material standards, MIL standards
  • Experience working with TDPs and product lifecycle management tool (Windchill)
  • Ability to coordinate tasking for a team of engineers and manage schedule and budgets
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint
