I&E Technician -Austin Industrial (Spring, TX)

Requirements

• Test, calibrate, troubleshoot, overhaul, and repair controlling, indicating, and measuring instrument devices to ensure specified operating performance.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and replace process instruments as a part of the facility's maintenance program.
• Maintain process instruments including valves, vibration monitors, and other instruments.
• Pressure test pneumatic instruments for leaks, pneumatic instruments with controllers, transducers, and valves in service.
• Conduct instrumentation evaluation and troubleshooting for electrical, pneumatic, electronic, and programmable logic control (PLC) systems.
• Loop check electrical wiring for continuity and proper termination.
• Perform field calibration of electronic instruments with transmitters, controllers, transducers, valves, and recorders in service.
• Read, understand, correlate, and trouble-shoot from one-line schematics P & ID's, and ladder diagrams.
• Knowledgeable in the use of electrical equipment testers including V.O.M., AMP meter, and 1000-volt insulation tester.
• Knowledgeable in communication and applicable electrical OSHA rules and regulations.
