Role Overview

The IFP Worker provides case management, improves parental capacity, builds and assists in utilizing natural supports, assesses caregivers’ ability to keep children safe, and responds to crises. Staff provides concrete interventions to address safety concerns and improve family functioning to minimize risk factors that put a child at risk of removal.

What You Will Do

Carry a caseload of 5 families, provide home visits, identify and refer families to needed resources and services, assess family safety and risk factors, develop safety and crisis plans, and assist families in building and utilizing natural supports.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in social work or a related mental health field, with a minimum of three years' work experience in providing home-based services to children and families. Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a preferred qualification.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in social work or related mental health field
  • 3 years' work experience in providing home-based services to children and families
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
