Job Description
The Social Worker is responsible for working closely with families, school counselors, teachers, students and school leader(s) to enhance the school’s ability to meet its academic mission. Success in this role is measured by improving student social, emotional, behavioral, and academic outcomes and acting as a liaison with community agencies to ensure services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and a relevant Master's degree to meet the standards outlined for certification.
  • Relevant Florida Teaching Certification or Eligibility for Certification in School Social Work K-12
  • Passing a background check, as required by law
