Job Description
KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools seeks a Social Worker to work closely with families, school counselors, teachers, and students to enhance the school's ability to meet its academic mission. The Social Worker will identify and support students and their families in eliminating barriers that impact learning, conduct assessments, and provide consultation to school personnel and community partners.

Requirements

  • Florida certification in School Social Work (grades PK-12)
  • Bachelor's Degree and a relevant Master's degree to meet the standards outlined for certification
  • Relevant Florida Teaching Certification or Eligibility for Certification in School Social Work K-12 and the same must be maintained during employment
  • Passing a background check, as required by law
  • In accordance with Florida House Bill 531, this position requires a background screening through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
