Role OverviewThe Imports and Exports Specialist provides import/export process efficiency by coordinating and executing international shipping, customs, and trade compliance activities. This role tracks and reports on inbound international shipments, analyzes shipping documentation for accuracy, and verifies compliance with PERI policies and applicable laws. The Specialist works closely with PERI yards to ensure shipments are completely received.
What You Will Do
In a typical day, the Imports and Exports Specialist tracks international shipments end-to-end, coordinates customs clearance and trade compliance, and serves as a liaison with freight forwarders and customs brokers. The Specialist also monitors and reports on inbound international shipments, delivers efficient communication to logistics teams, and coordinates shipping containers end-to-end.

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in import/export operations, international logistics
- Knowledge of material management software systems – PSD or another ERP preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communicator in the English language
