Role OverviewWe are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to a client in his home. Empathy Hands Home Care is looking for reliable, compassionate, and qualified caregivers to serve our clients in the Pomona area. Must be fluent in Spanish/English. We are looking for experienced Caregivers, CNAs, or senior companions.
What You Will Do
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be patient, empathetic, and possess excellent problem-solving skills. Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable but not mandatory. Willing to work on Weekends
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred, especially in outpatient, geriatrics, or in-home care settings.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to teach clients about their care plans effectively.
- Must be patient, empathetic, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable but not mandatory.
- Willing to work on Weekends
